At some point in life, everyone has felt like they don't belong. I wanted to make a fairly lighthearted film that showcased what it feels like to be an outsider by telling the story of a lost teenage expat in Prague. I also wanted to represent the struggles between mother and daughter by showing a girl who would go to the ends of the earth to make her Mom proud.
