It explores grief from a new perspective---it's about someone who built their life on shallow things, suffers a loss, and is too proud to admit she's been leading her life all wrong. She's afraid to face the end, as a lot of us are. And in her fear, she pushes away those who are close to her out of denial. It's a cautionary tale with light touches of humor and sweetness. I struggle with the idea of death and the feeling of grief, and I hope this provides a refuge for others who do too.
