This is the first of three acts of the film, which denotes an artist's struggle with her morality and identity, as she is forced to confront the impending death of her girlfriend while working towards a life-changing exhibit. I chose to tell this story to give stage to the cutthroat environment that is being an artist; giving your entire being to your craft in order to survive. The protagonist here, LULA, must choose between her present and her future, two of her greatest loves in her life.
