As artificial intelligence threatens to disrupt our industry, I wanted to make an experimental psychological horror film to warn my fellow writers and filmmakers of the dangers of letting an algorithm usurp true inspiration and creativity.

The film is loosely based on the ancient Chinese parable "The Butterfly Dream".
