After Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution, kung fu, the popular Chinese martial art, came close to being forgotten. In order to safeguard their knowledge and train disciples, many masters fled abroad. In France, Simu Shasha and Da Sifu Hrod, heirs of this art, continue to practice styles that have since disappeared in China. Each year, more than 200 students come to learn the ancestral kung fu styles taught at their school named "Dragon Tiger".
