About this submission

Rhythmic Exercise with Priadi is both an ode to my childhood nostalgia and a critical reflection of growing up in an environment that blatantly endorses toxic forms of masculinity. It is an attempt to uplift narratives and forms of media that are rarely represented in Western media, while also being transparent about their hidden flaws and shortcomings fueled by the male gaze. With this in mind, welcome to the early 2000s Indonesian media. Sit back, enjoy, but don't be relaxed.
