PINPOINT came from my reaction to America's intertwined issues: fractured-education-system, opioid-epidemic, and mental-health-crisis. I wanted to highlight these problems through a gritty, frenetic, and claustrophobic lens. --- "We follow Wolfe, a struggling med student with an unusual fascination for anatomy, smeared into the world of intense schooling and drug-coping students. Driven by unhealthy obsessions, Wolfe pursues his own understanding of ‘success’ by any means." --- Some institutions can indirectly neglect immoral behavior of students, so long as it breeds success—a familiar feeling I noticed during college—expanding to emphasize classmates' drug-use as a coping mechanism, mirrored in Wolfe’s descent into obsession.
