About this submission

Since I was a kid, I loved absurdist comedy in cartoons like Regular Show as a way to explore themes and big emotions. I wanted to do my take on that, but in live-action. The story being about accountability, maturity, and what it means to be a good friend seemed like really simple concepts but resonated with me while developing this project and helped me process some relationships in my own life. As for the cardboard world, I wanted something visually unique, unexpected, environmentally conscious, budget-friendly, and a funny concept for a world to be made of.
