“Home” is a lighthearted drama series about a control-freak dairy farming wife/mother of six who is finally facing her troubled past and her challenging present in therapy, now that she's dealing with a high risk pregnancy and the looming threat of losing control of her teenage children's lives.
I am a former dairy farm kid, from a Catholic home-schooling family much like the Talbots in this pilot script. The characters are inspired by several people I have known in real life (including my own family members), and crazy, control-freak mom and wife Jenny has a personality very similar to my own.
I have noticed an absence of TV shows and movies set in the agricultural world where a large portion of our country resides, and I've created this TV pilot, as well as some comedy and drama feature films, set in that world to meet this need. My professional writing credits include a produced feature film, as well as a published young adult novel.

Adrienne Thorne has been writing stories since she was old enough to hold a pen and even completed her first novel at the age of 12. Since then, her writing accomplishments include a produced feature screenplay, a published YA novel, and a produced comedy webseries episode. Her immediate goals are to secure screenwriting representation and find more consistent writing work. Apart from her writing, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and three small children, listening to country music, and competitive Costco sampling.
