I created this film first for a 48 hour film festival. While I've done much more "formal" short films, I think this film has most of my heart in it. I want to write absurd stories about characters that have a lot of heart but don't fit in. For me, this came out of a need to make a self-reflexive film that asked about loneliness and belonging as a young person in New York City, the constant swing between joy and heartbreak in everyday life here. Written, directed, and shot by me.
