About this submission

The phenomenon of iPad Kids is a growing issue of modern society. We're witnessing the rise of a new form of parental neglect through digital abuse. DaR-Da-Pa explores an extreme outcome of this phenomenon. As someone who grew up without any internet restrictions, I witnessed real gore content before I knew how to do multiplications. The same thing is happening to Gen Alpha, but with iPads. But unlike Gen Z, this new generation is developing a digital addiction that is inhibiting their early developmental stage. My hope is that DaR-Da-Pa rings an alarm too few people are paying attention to.
