Beartrap follows Joe, a professional hunter who has never encountered a beast he has been unable to catch — until now. While Joe is taunted by the specter of his failure, he is also confronting his own obsolescence in a world that is quickly moving past him, through troubles as home. Ultimately, we witness Joe’s descent as the dynamic between predator and prey seemingly flips and comes crashing down upon him.
