About this submission

Dalia awakens in an unknown land, watched over by three strange women—the Fates. Initially frightened, Dalia calms as they offer to sew her torn sweater before she journeys home. While sewing, the Fates challenge her on her beliefs, as Dalia is wrestling with her idea of what choice is–whether or not she has autonomy over herself or her life. Each Fate offers a different perspective, guiding her through the complexities of destiny and free will. Only once the sewing is complete and Dalia reaches her own conclusion is she sent home, now prepared to face her future.
