Filmmaking has always been my way of processing emotions and making sense of my experiences in the world. My goal with making this film was to evoke an emotional response from the audience. During my own difficult time, songs, art, and films were a source of comfort and understanding for me. They made me feel seen and less alone. I wanted to create something that might offer that same solace to others—something they could watch in moments of pain or doubt and leave feeling just a little bit more hopeful.
