The title will, of course, change. Chris is an actor. Ally is a writer. They decide to make a romantic comedy. Things get complicated when the actress hired to play against Chris starts asking too many questions about her character, who is clearly based on Ally herself. Ideally this will be a little bit Cyrano de Bergerac, a little bit Clouds of Sils Maria, with the energy of Always Be My Maybe. I am nowhere near any of these yet.
Is this too confusing? Is there a better way of laying everything out or signifying where we are if the eventual point is that we're never quite sure if we're watching the people or the characters? Is the pacing somehow both too slow and too fast? Please help.
