About this submission

This is actually my first screenplay, which I hope to turn into my first short film production. It is a psychological thriller that explores the themes of love and regret. The title, Ambrosia, comes from the flower which symbolizes requited love, something that the main character yearns for. His experience in this desperate search leads him to an unexpected conclusion...one that even his own sub-conscious struggles to accept.

This is a nearly-final version of my work, but I would love feedback on it for my final revision process. Specifically, I'd love to know if the plot twist makes sense to you, or if I need to add some more contextual clues/clarification. Do the flashback scenes do enough to explain the relationship of the main characters? Also, any edits to the script formatting would be great. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this...I am so grateful!

I have been working in the natural history side of filmmaking for the past 10 years, but have just recently ventured into the narrative side of things. I'm currently developing my first short film, Ambrosia. This process has made me realize how much I love this new challenge and I'm excited to learn and grow through this process. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you'd like to collaborate on something in the DMV area!
