A pair of estranged best friends must team up to save the world when the monsters from the comic book they wrote together as children start coming to life.

This is the first draft of a screenplay about to undergo a major rewrite, so I thought I'd put it up and see what notes I might want to work in. I'm not sure what genre to submit it under - it's neither comedy nor drama, not quite action/adventure or science fiction/fantasy, I'd rather call it coming of age but that's rarely an option, so it's just sort of there. If anyone has a better idea than I do, please help.

One thing I should make clear is that I am far less interested in the monsters than I am in the friendship, which probably means I should revise the logline while I'm at it. But if you think there's too much talking and not enough fighting, rest assured that's exactly what I want.
