“With/In” is an exploration of grief told through a horror lens. The inspiration for the story was my experience of losing my aunt and Nana as a teenager. Following their passings, grief became a permanent fixture in my life. However, as I’ve grown, the ways in which I process my grief has evolved. Therefore, telling the story of “With/In” was an altruistic effort on my part to speak to those who may still have an antagonistic relationship with their own grief - much like myself years ago. My aim was to impart to them a healing message through film.
