Vampire; Hunted takes place on the fictional continent of Valeria, a land terrorized by monsters and dominated by fear. The people of Valeria have either chosen to run, hide, or fight; serving as monster slayers for the hunters guild.

The story is told through the eyes of Kinnara, a half-vampire struggling to live on her own in a world that hates monsters. She is on the run from Tsuneo Okamura, a fearsome vampire hunter, and her girlfriends father.
