I had a lot of regrets over how I treated others while in high school and I think I needed to let the past off of my chest and my clear my conscious. It took some reflecting upon my-self and a lot of "getting over it" to write this movie since it was fairly personal. Nevertheless this film is far from autobiographical, and I equally wanted to make something fun and propulsive with my new friends as I did spend time self-reflecting.
