About this submission

After a flying saucer containing all of humanity's stories crashes into their backyard, a young artist seeks help to undestand its messages. With their friends, they try to unravel the meaning of the saucer and the importance of stories to humanity in this Afrofuturist adventure, loosely inspired by the Asante legend of Ananse and the Chest of Stories.


Creator
Roger Bravo is a director, screenwriter, and musician from São Paulo, Brazil. He is a member of the independent studio Mutua, where he created the 3D animation "I’m Caipora" and directed "I’ll Come Back for You", his debut short film as a director. Through his work, he portrays experiences from Brazilian everyday with influences from genre cinema, Afrofuturism and hip-hop culture. more...
