I created "The Curtains Glow At Night" to delve into a side of queerness that is entirely a personal journey. It is not a story of abuse, misplaced love, or loss; rather, it materializes the dissociative feeling of comparing your adult expression to your childhood self. This severance can dredge disorienting feelings, particularly in your childhood home. The effects are mind-fogging: time begins to move cyclically and old patterns resurface when you’re being haunted by your past.
