My goal as a filmmaker is to create films and documentaries that highlight different cultures and stories from around the world. As a first-generation immigrant, I have seen both my Indian and American culture. These experiences shaped my beliefs and values. At first, it's easy to notice the differences between one another, yet beneath that, I found a much more striking revelation. At our core, we are much more similar than we could ever be different.
