About this submission

One is often unaware of what it is exactly that draws us into a story. But I do know, that what draws me into cinema is the chance to experience new worlds, interior worlds, and the stories that exists within them. Within us. Sleep Paralysis is one of those harrowing, and rare experiences that exemplifies the phrase "reality is stranger than fiction". It is a murky and misunderstood phenomenon obscured by the barriers of belief and science, with those who experience it often left alone and traumatised by it. In the subjects one words, "It feels like dying".
