About this submission

Grief is something many have experienced, but most do not find the power in it until after it's passed. In a story bringing light to the different stages of grief, I wanted to show how much of a cycle it truly is, and how it can be right in front of our faces, but sometimes we don't even recognize it. Grief doesn't look just one way, and often times we are so quick to judge without knowing anything. So with this story I wanted to speak to all the hurt we carry, and encourage us all to give more grace.
