I chose to tell this story because I used to be a competitive tennis player. I'm a big fan and follow professional tennis for a while. The Tallahassee Tennis Challenger is a small-scale tournament in the heart of the Florida capital. I wanted to highlight the nuance and intensity of a tournament like this. It's almost like the minor leagues for professional tennis, where there isn't any real attention or publicity, but the stakes are just as high. I wanted to showcase tennis in it's rawest form, and the in's and out's of the tournament itself.
