Smoke and Mirrors is a project close to my heart.

Inspired by and based off of personal experiences within my own life, as well as the crew members, I created a narrative and leading characters that are influenced by real life people. While incorporating my own mysterious twist, I have also included true scenarios within each characters storylines which have centred specifically in New Zealand culture. For me, realism was a major factor within my approach to storytelling. I was inspired to create a narrative that would speak strongly to my own generation and New Zealand peers who could relate.
