I grew up in an affluent suburb in the Bay Area. Because of the nonexistent wealth disparity I saw the kids I broke bread with experiment with drug abuse, alcohol dependency and sex addiction at a very young age. Now that I'm older I wanted to tell the stories of my friends from a very grounded and real point of view. I spent the early part of the Pandemic back home where I interviewed my old friends about their perspectives on their lives so I can tell their stories as truthfully as I could. I like to think I succeeded.
