At a party, Abbie hooks up with Jen, the girl of his dreams, but they are interrupted by her psychotic ex-boyfriend Dave, who vows that the next day will be Abbie’s last.
As the fight looms, Abbie fakes an illness to get out of the school. But when Dave’s rage turns towards Jen, Abbie swallows his fear and stands up to the brute once and for all… where he gets the crap beaten out of him. But as he wakes upon the ground, he sees Jen looking down at him and all the head trauma is instantly worth it.
