This story came to my mind when my mom told me how many times she wanted to leave this world after my father passed away in a car crash ten years ago. I was so shocked to hear that, considering my mom has always been such a tough and independent superhero in my life, single-handedly supporting all my needs and teaching me resilience. There were times she wanted to give up but pulled through by the strength of God, as she said. This film is dedicated to her and countless women who have persevered through the bitterness of life.
