Growing up, romantic comedies and coming-of-age films were my favorite comfort movies. Yet, I couldn't help but notice the lack of diversity in these beloved genres. Rosa’s Dilemma is my heartfelt response to that gap— a homage to the 90s/2000s romcoms that made me believe in finding your soulmate and a love letter to the hopeless romantic Black girls who yearn to see themselves on screen.
