I chose to tell this story because it is about a girl I have known for the last 10 years—my inspiration, Pooja. Born blind, she faced immense hardships, including losing her father, societal prejudices, and a difficult marriage. Yet, she refused to be defined by her struggles, turning them into motivation. Through perseverance, she mastered Braille, pursued education, and secured a job in the railway industry. Her journey is a testament to resilience, proving that dreams can be achieved despite adversity. This story highlights the power of determination and encourages a more inclusive and supportive society for dreamers like her.
