Making this short was a way for me to process my first experience stepping into my queerness and the underlying fear as well as the bubbling excitement that was brought to the surface. In the past, I’d always sought out dramatic projects thinking, on some level, that they were clearly the most meaningful stories. However, I’ve begun to realize that in my darkest hours, comedy has brought me the most solace; it has made me feel less alone. So I saw this short as an opportunity to hopefully offer the same for others while exercising a new muscle.
