This film isn’t only about connecting with my family and reconciling the past, it’s about connecting with others through cinema and shared experience. We hope to evoke a memory, where people can recognize themselves inside of it. But beyond this portrait of a personal familial story, this film is about culture and the traditions that come with it, that can so easily be lost if we don’t hold them close. It's about lineage, the thread between generations; the past and the present; memories, and how we preserve them. It's about life in an intimate, still, moment while it lasts.
