I've always wanted to make a film about my grandmother, and try to capture how sweet & loving she is to everyone around her. Last time I went to Brazil to visit the family I decided to shoot something around her recipe of the traditional Brazilian dish Pão de Queijo - while at the same time presenting some of her life and culture.

My idea was for the film to work as both a practical recipe video of the dish and a brief portrait doc on my grandmother, Abadia. The film was entirely shot & sound recorded with an iPhone.
