It's not the first or even the best film I've ever made, but it's the most ambitious and exciting project I've ever done. We were all 19, fresh in film school, filming on the California/Mexican border with over 5k we'd crowdfunded ourselves. I'd never done anything like that or known it was possible. It's a post-apocalyptic story where 3 friends find out one of them is infected with a zombie virus but they don't know which. This film was big for me and my friends, and I'm happy to get to share the story with others any chance I get.
