LIPSTICK follows the story of Scarlett, a precocious young woman who must engage in a lethal battle of wits against an unlikely rival‑ her red lipstick, while getting ready for a Valentine's Day date.

So often women are vilified for their sexuality and desire for beauty. I wanted to tell the story of a lesbian woman that addresses the unrealistic and dangerous beauty standards that women face on a daily basis.

The world is a cruel and unforgiving place for women. I wanted to explore these serious themes through the light-hearted, campy horror of a killer lipstick.
