Disclaimer: color & sounds are not complete. I wanted to explore the frustrations of seemingly ordinary people and their differences doing the same activity. It’s always been interesting to me how an activity that might seem far removed from how people struggle, can still expose conflicts that we hide within. Even the things we love cannot deafen our internal quarrels. Fishing, a reflective hobby by nature, lent itself greatly to the emotional ideas I wanted to explore. I find human’s relationships with the natural world to be compelling because I think it’s something we get further and further removed from.
