Jill, a recently divorced, anxious mother and her two kids, Graham and Ella, move into a haunted mansion controlled by a mystical Gooses. Ella, who has a penitent for lying is the first to encounter the Goose, which Jill and Graham don't believe. When Ella and Graham get into a fight and Jill tries to get in between them, the powers of the Goose take over and throw the kids to either side. The Goose then possesses Graham, causing him to stalk after Ella with an axe. Jill has to recognize the problems at hand and save her family.
