About this submission

"For The Girls That Never Heal" matters because memory lingers, because pain is not linear, and because girlhood—Black, tender, fractured—deserves to be seen in all its contradictions. It matters because healing is not always an arc but a loop, a haunting, a whisper in the bones. This film is a mirror for the girls who were never allowed to break, who carried wounds in silence, and who still exist in the in-between. It matters because their stories do. Because survival is not the only measure of worth. Because some ghosts are not meant to be exorcized but understood.
