Feliz Cumpleaños reflects my childhood with a single immigrant mother, capturing the sacrifices and love often overlooked by children. Moving to the U.S. brought struggles, but my mother’s resilience shaped who I am today. This film is a tribute to her and to the countless Latinos navigating similar hardships. Through authentic storytelling, I aim to challenge stereotypes and offer a heartfelt portrayal of love, sacrifice, and resilience, ensuring our stories are seen, heard, and understood.
