I was raised by two very devout Southern Baptist artists: a playwright and a singer. It wasn't until my later teenage years that I began to independently deconstruct my christian faith, and as I grew older and more educated it became very difficult for me to maintain a strong belief in any sort of spirituality. However, as I began to follow in my parents footsteps it became hard for me to deny the spiritual presence I experienced in my own art. I chose to make this film as a lighthearted exploration of this spiritual connection to creative expression.
