As both an aspiring athlete and artist, I was inspired to tell a story surrounding the irony of insecurities people hold onto in the pursuit of excellence. I have, for years, been surrounded and observed people, including myself, who place immense pressure on themselves for some hopeful outcome. In doing trying to be great, insecurity follows us. I have always found the irony of that to be both absurdly comedic, and somewhat sad. I wanted to capture that feeling with this movie, and entertain anyone who might watch.
