I wrote this short based on how I previously viewed religion: a set of rules and restraints that constricted my beliefs and impeded on my creativity. But as I grew older, I began to realize that organized religion gives as much as it takes. I’ve always wanted to make something that touches on God - or rather the absence of Him. What happens when some elitist kids get together to play God without consequence? Is abusing power a symptom of religion? Or merely the human condition? And I've always viewed cannibalism as a gruesome act of self-destruction.
