"Demonize" has been a very special experience for me as a DP and writer. I have a personal relationship with Overtown, and I've always wanted to be able to show people how beautiful the neighborhood and people are. Because of racial segregation and gentrification, Overtown's culture and the incredible community of people there are not appreciated or seen. The colorful and bright history of Overtown is something that should be preserved and honored. This is a small love letter to that history and community.
