The idea of this movie came to my mind when I was researching the group ‘deti-404’. It is Facebook community where Russian teenagers anonymously post texts about their self-determination and sexual orientation. They often write about the lack of understanding on the part of parents and the absence of any adequate dialogue with them. Some of these texts disturbed me because they involved suicidal thoughts, utter despair. My project is aimed at immersing in a deep social problem in Russia, the existence of queer teenagers in a patriarchal society in the regions of Russia. Makes problems LGBTIQA+ teens visible.
