Hello! My name is Giovana, and I'm an emerging filmmaker who creates media that educates, inspires, and fosters connection among diverse audiences. I began my career as a Production Assistant at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, where I gained extensive experience in producing, shooting, and editing videos. This role ignited my passion for impact filmmaking and laid the groundwork for my current endeavors as a graduate student at American University. As I continue to develop my skills, my work aims to promote meaningful social and environmental change, bridging cultures and communities through the power of storytelling. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, watching foreign films, and reading.
