About this submission

"Days of Leaking" is about a man struggling with a water leakage that suddenly appears in their apartment, told from the point of view of the character's feet.

Besides just wanting to do nothing, now he feels the need to do something about that irritating sound of the droplets, discovering truths he’s maybe too scared to face about himself.

J.V. Gabriel is a filmmaker based in São Paulo, Brazil. His grandparents own a local movie theater where he would spend most of his childhood at. Later on, J.V. would study filmmaking in Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) and enroll in film directing courses at EBAC. Having established himself as a writer-director and editor with his debut short film “Tearings", his new short film, “Days of Leaking”, is in post production. J.V. currently spends his time between working on social media and pursuing passion projects.
