I was inspired to tell this story due to a street-performing jazz musician from my hometown. I passed by him day after day as he played alone, seemingly unbothered by the lack of an audience.

Eventually, I gained the courage to introduce myself and ask him some questions about his life. He shared that he had left behind a career in finance to pursue his passion for music. The rest is history.
