This story is based on my experience as an Indian woman who grew up in a nuclear family and had to adjust to a joint family after losing my father—a home filled with people from different parts of the country, each carrying a sense of something missing. I wanted to explore that unspoken yearning and the silent battles we fight within ourselves. The film follows a girl who has lost her mother in a world where all adults have vanished, and she is given a chance to find her again in another universe. This story is about self-discovery and longing.
